The Senior Finance Manager will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the business unit. This will include direct responsibility for finance, forecasting, strategic planning, and site related accounting functions.\nKey Job Tasks:\nStrategy\nAs a true business partner to the Site Director, assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and the business unit’s long-term strategy.\nDevelop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the Site Director and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.\nAssist in establishing yearly objectives and meeting agendas, and selecting and engaging outside consultants (auditors).\nExecutive Management\nServe as a member of site leadership team.\nParticipate in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating model and operational execution.\nFinancial Planning and Analysis\nPrepare and maintain regular financial planning reports; Monthly profit and loss forecast by division (vs. budget).\nComplete analysis of financial results and develop recommendations (strategic and tactical).\nDevelop and execute analysis of various business initiatives (e.g., opening new operations, asset acquisition, new service launches).\nDevelop and maintain capital budget.\nAssist in development of financial planning and analysis exercises/reports.\nParticipate in calls with Division and Corporate Management.\nFinance\nOversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.\nOversee cash, and asset management.\nDevelop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into the organization’s operations and business plans.\nPlanning\nCoordinate the development and monitoring of budgets.\nDevelop financial business plans and forecasts.\nTeam Management\nManage work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic.\nCash Management\nOversee weekly cash management and approve weekly payables.\nOversee AR management and provide support to collections activities.\nRisk Management\nMonitor all open legal issues involving the business unit/industry\nEnsure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.\nEnsure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.\nEducation & Experience:\nA Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance with C.P.A and/or M.B.A is required. At least ten years of experience in financial management within a manufacturing facility with increasing responsibilities for multi-faceted direction and planning. Cost accounting experience is highly recommended. Knowledge of database and accounting computer application systems to supply the most accurate financial information.\nThis is a service-orientated position.
