Due to increasing demands in automation, software development, lifecycle management, and system optimization, we are strengthening our team to continue delivering innovative and reliable solutions.\nIn this role, you will be responsible for developing electrical systems and software for machine control, coordinating technical requirements, and supporting products throughout their full lifecycle. You will work in an international project environment, collaborating with engineers, suppliers, and customers to ensure that technical solutions meet specifications, performance expectations, and regulatory requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Coordination: Define and align technical requirements for assigned development tasks, ensuring smooth execution from concept to implementation.\nElectrical System Design: Develop low-voltage electrical systems for machines, including control systems, drive systems, operator terminals, safety components, and sensors.\nSoftware Development: Design and implement software for machine control systems, visualizations (HMI), and drive technologies.\nProject Contribution: Participate in multidisciplinary project teams, working closely with international colleagues and stakeholders.\nLifecycle Support: Support products throughout their entire lifecycle, including commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements.\nOptimization: Analyze and improve the electrical and software performance of existing machines and systems.\nDocumentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain technical documentation to support development, commissioning, and aftercare.\nConcept & Technology Evaluation: Conduct studies to evaluate new technologies, architectures, and automation concepts.\nGlobal Collaboration: Contribute to the “Group for Electronics” across development sites to share knowledge and standardize solutions.\nWhat Kind of Person Are You\nSoftware-Driven & Technical: You have a strong affinity for automation software and machine control systems, combined with solid electrical engineering knowledge.\nAnalytical & Structured: You approach complex challenges methodically and deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.\nCollaborative Team Player: You communicate clearly and work effectively in international teams where English is essential.\nProactive & Solution-Oriented: You take initiative in improving systems, solving problems, and driving innovation.\nHands-On & Practical: You enjoy working close to the machine-from development to commissioning and optimization.\nReliable & Detail-Oriented: You ensure accuracy in your designs, software, and documentation, with a strong focus on quality.\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field\nProfessional experience with automation systems and commissioning of machines or plant prototypes\nHands-on experience with PLC programming, HMI development, or drive systems\nExperience integrating hardware and software in industrial environments\nExperience in creating and maintaining technical documentation\nStrong in both German and English communication skills\nNice to Have\nExperience in international project environments\nKnowledge of industrial communication protocols and machine safety\nExperience within the food processing or machinery industry\nWhy Join Us?\nAt JBT Marel, what we do matters.
