In this role, you will perform stainless-steel fabrication and MIG/TIG welding on light-gauge stainless-steel components. You’ll work from mechanical drawings, weld symbols, work instructions, and shop routings to produce high-quality parts that meet required specifications and tolerances.\nThis is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, pays attention to detail, and works well in a team environment.\nWhat You'll Do\nPerform MIG and TIG welding on thin-gauge stainless steel.\nFabricate and assemble stainless-steel components according to engineering drawings and work instructions.\nInterpret mechanical blueprints, weld symbols, and shop routings.\nProduce sanitary welds that meet USDA requirements.\nSet up and operate conventional fabrication and finishing equipment.\nGrind, blend, blast, and polish welds using hand and power tools.\nOperate overhead cranes and forklifts to safely move materials.\nSupport various welding functions and work areas based on production needs.\nMeet established quality, productivity, and workmanship standards.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.\nFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and operating standards.\nParticipate in cross-training and support other areas of the department as needed.\nContribute to continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWhat We're Looking For\nHigh school diploma or GED or at least 2 years of experience in a similar welding/fabrication role.\nExperience with MIG and TIG welding, preferably on thin-gauge stainless steel.\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings and weld symbols.\nExperience producing sanitary welds is strongly preferred.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nAbility to follow both written and verbal instructions.\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team.\nAbility to safely use hand tools and fabrication equipment.\nAbility to work within established production standards.\nPreferred: Associate degree or technical training in Welding Technology.\nWhy Join Us?\nYou'll have the opportunity to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment where quality craftsmanship, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement are valued.
