The position supports inventory accountability, client property protection, and compliance with established warehouse procedures.\nThe role requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and proficiency with warehouse management systems and digital tools to support accurate reporting and efficient inventory operations.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nInventory Auditing & Accuracy\nConduct scheduled and random cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and reconciliations.\nVerify physical inventory against Warehouse Management System (WMS) records and supporting documentation.\nInvestigate inventory discrepancies, identify potential causes, and recommend corrective actions.\nDocument shortages, overages, damaged items, and inventory variances.\nVerify inventory adjustments and maintain accurate, traceable audit records.\nAssist with order discrepancies, inventory transfers, and stock verification as needed.\nInventory Systems, AI & Reporting\nMaintain accurate inventory information in WMS and other approved company systems.\nPrepare audit reports documenting inventory accuracy, discrepancies, and corrective actions.\nUse approved AI, automation, and data-analysis tools to support discrepancy identification, data validation, reporting, and audit efficiency.\nIdentify recurring inventory errors and opportunities to improve data accuracy or streamline processes.\nVerify AI-generated findings against physical inventory and system records before reporting results.\nReport system errors and coordinate with IT or technical support to resolve issues.\nClient Property & Compliance\nVerify inventory identification, location, condition, and movement of client-owned property.\nSupport property disposal and disposition audits by validating records and required approvals.\nMaintain accurate documentation in accordance with client requirements and company procedures.\nProtect confidential client information and report unauthorized inventory movements or irregularities.\nSupport internal and client inventory audits as required.\nWarehouse Operations & Safety\nCoordinate with warehouse, logistics, and operations teams to resolve inventory issues.\nFollow established SOPs, inventory controls, and safety procedures.\nSafely operate authorized warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, when trained and certified as required.\nMaintain organized inventory audit areas and report safety hazards or equipment concerns.\nCommunicate audit findings, discrepancies, and operational concerns to the Inventory Auditor Supervisor.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, distribution, or a related field.\nWorking knowledge of cycle counting, physical inventory audits, reconciliation, and inventory documentation.\nExperience using WMS, inventory software, or electronic inventory tracking systems.\nProficiency with computers, handheld scanners, Microsoft Excel, and digital reporting tools.\nStrong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and analytical skills.\nAbility to investigate discrepancies and maintain accurate records.\nEffective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently, follow established procedures, and meet deadlines.\nAbility to learn and effectively use AI, automation, and other inventory management technologies.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in 3PL, distribution center, or commercial warehousing operations.\nExperience auditing client-owned inventory, furniture, appliances, or FF&E materials.\nExperience with Extensiv WMS or similar warehouse management platforms.\nExperience preparing inventory reports and analyzing discrepancies.\nForklift or pallet jack experience and applicable certification.\nBilingual English/Spanish communication skills.\nWork Environment & Schedule\nThis is a full-time, in-person position requiring 40 hours per week. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential requirement of the position.\nWork is performed in warehouse and office environments and may involve noise, moving equipment, dust, and varying temperatures.
