The role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, warehouse experience, and the ability to use technology and digital tools to improve efficiency and communication.\nKey Responsibilities\nWarehouse Operations & Coordination\nCoordinate daily receiving, unloading, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping activities.\nAssign tasks and monitor workflow to meet operational schedules and priorities.\nVerify that materials and orders are accurately handled, documented, and prepared for distribution.\nCoordinate equipment, staffing, and material needs with the Warehouse Manager.\nMonitor warehouse organization, storage practices, and efficient use of space.\nIdentify operational delays or issues and communicate corrective recommendations.\nInventory Control & Accuracy\nEnsure inventory movements, locations, and transactions are accurately recorded in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).\nSupport cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation activities.\nInvestigate and report shortages, damages, and inventory discrepancies.\nCoordinate with Inventory Auditors and other departments to resolve inventory issues.\nEnsure proper handling, storage, and protection of client-owned materials.\nTeam Leadership & Safety\nProvide daily work direction, guidance, and on-the-job training to warehouse employees.\nMonitor productivity, attendance, work quality, and adherence to established procedures.\nCommunicate performance or staffing concerns to the Warehouse Manager.\nReinforce company safety policies, equipment operating procedures, and PPE requirements.\nConduct routine work-area and equipment checks and report hazards or unsafe conditions.\nPromote teamwork, accountability, and a clean, organized warehouse environment.\nTechnology, AI & Process Improvement\nUse WMS and other company systems to track inventory, orders, and warehouse activities.\nUse approved AI, automation, and digital toolsto support workflow planning, reporting, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.\nIdentify opportunities to streamline repetitive tasks and improve warehouse processes.\nVerify system and AI-generated information against operational records before taking action.\nSupport implementation of updated SOPs, technology, and operational procedures.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n3+ years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or related operations experience, including experience providing team leadership or work direction.\nWorking knowledge of receiving, shipping, inventory control, order fulfillment, and material handling.\nExperience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, with required training or certification.\nExperience using WMS, inventory software, handheld scanners, and basic computer applications.\nAbility to coordinate employees, prioritize assignments, and meet operational deadlines.\nStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to maintain accurate records and follow established procedures.\nAbility to learn and effectively use AI, automation, and digital warehouse technologies.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in 3PL, distribution center, or commercial warehousing operations.\nExperience handling furniture, appliances, FF&E, or other client-owned materials.\nExperience with Extensiv WMS or similar warehouse management platforms.\nExperience training employees, monitoring productivity, or coordinating warehouse shifts.\nKnowledge of inventory auditing, warehouse KPIs, and process improvement practices.\nOSHA forklift training or other relevant warehouse safety certifications.\nWork Environment & Schedule\nThis is a full-time, in-person position requiring 40 hours per week. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential requirement of the position.\nWork is performed primarily in an active warehouse environment and may involve noise, moving equipment, dust, and varying temperatures.
