\n\nWhat you will do:\nDesign, implement, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS and Microsoft Azure environments. \nDeploy, manage, and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using automation and orchestration tools. \nSupport enterprise cloud modernization efforts, including the migration of on-premises applications, services, and workloads to cloud environments. \nTroubleshoot and resolve complex Tier 3 cloud infrastructure, networking, identity, and application-related issues. \nCollaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and architecture teams to ensure cloud solutions align with enterprise standards, security requirements, and mission objectives. \nContribute to the design and architecture of highly available, resilient, and scalable cloud environments. \nDevelop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes to improve operational efficiency. \nImplement and enforce cloud security best practices and compliance requirements in accordance with DoD and Federal cybersecurity frameworks. \nMonitor and optimize cloud environments to improve performance, reliability, availability, and cost efficiency. \nCreate and maintain technical documentation, engineering standards, operational procedures, and system runbooks. \nSupport continuous service improvement initiatives to enhance cloud operations, user experience, and overall platform performance within the Defense Enclave Services (DES) environment. \nProvide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers and operations personnel.\nWhat you will bring:\nBachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience; additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree. \nHands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise cloud solutions in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments. \nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or AWS CloudFormation. \nExperience implementing automation solutions using tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, Azure Functions, or similar technologies. \nExperience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and working within DevSecOps environments. \nUnderstanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM/ICAM) technologies, including Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Okta, CyberArk, or similar platforms. \nStrong knowledge of cloud networking, virtualization, storage, and security principles. \nFamiliarity with Federal cybersecurity and compliance frameworks, including NIST, FedRAMP, and FISMA. \nExperience supporting enterprise production environments in an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) capacity. \nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and distributed teams. \nCurrent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CySA+, CCNA-Security, or equivalent). \nActive DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher. \nU.S. Citizenship required.\nHow you will wow us:\nAWS, Azure, or other cloud certifications. \nExperience supporting DISA, DoD, or other Federal enterprise environments. \nExperience leading cloud migration, modernization, or hybrid cloud initiatives. \nStrong Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and DevSecOps experience. \nKnowledge of Zero Trust, ICAM, and Federal cybersecurity frameworks. \nExperience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, or similar container platforms. \nFamiliarity with Jira and Confluence. \nExperience with enterprise monitoring, logging, and cloud governance tools. \nProven ability to solve complex technical challenges and drive scalable solutions. \nPassion for mentoring teammates and sharing technical expertise.\nJCS Solutions (JCS) is a premier technology firm providing innovative solutions and high-quality services in defense, national security, and civilian sectors.
