This role is responsible for the end-to-end design, execution, and continuous elevation of highly tailored international mission experiences that strengthen donor relationships and reflect the depth, dignity, and strategic priorities of JDC’s global work.\nEach mission is custom-built for a specific donor, foundation, lay leader, or strategic partner. No two visits are alike. The International Missions Coordinator must understand donor context, cultivation goals, and organizational priorities - and translate them into compelling, coherent, and purpose-driven experiences.\nResponsibilities and Ownership Areas\nMission Planning & Donor-Centered Experience Design:\nPartner with US-based fundraising colleagues to understand donor profiles, motivations, history, and cultivation goals.\nDevelop customized mission experiences that are aligned with donor relationship goals, humanitarian authenticity, and fundraising priorities\nIn charge of end-to-end planning processes across headquarters, the U.S. office, and international field teams, working closely with senior professionals, regional directors, and leadership-level stakeholders.\nMission Experience Development:\nShape encounters that move visitors emotionally, inspire hope and action, or provide deep intellectual engagement grounded in data and policy.\nEnsure coherence between site visits, meetings, briefings, and debriefs.\nNarrative Development & Speaker Preparation:\nDevelop clear, compelling narrative arcs for each visit, ensuring a cohesive flow and defined purpose.\nPrepare beneficiaries, field professionals, and senior leaders to engage effectively and communicate with confidence.\nHelp speakers distill their experiences into concise, audience-tailored narratives that resonate.\nAlign all messaging with broader fundraising and engagement goals.\nEnsure ethical, dignified, and accurate representation of beneficiary stories.\nOperational Excellence & Execution:\nManage the operational planning of international missions, ensuring that timelines, materials, travel arrangements, site visits, communications, and contingency plans are fully aligned with the mission goals.\nDevelop comprehensive run-of-show documents and itineraries integrating program flow, content, timing, and operational detail.\nCoordinate travel, venues, materials, transportation, security considerations, and contingency planning.\nPrepare, track, and maintain mission budgets in coordination with relevant finance and fundraising stakeholders.\nQualifications\nMinimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in international development, fundraising, mission planning, and complex cross-border project leadership.\nDemonstrated ability to hold processes involving senior stakeholders; executives, leaders, donors, and global partner\nProven experience designing structured programs or experiential learning journeys with end-to-end ownership from concept through execution.\nExcellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.\nHigh emotional intelligence and cultural fluency.\nExperience managing budgets, and ensuring financial accountability within organizational frameworks.\nFull professional fluency in English and Hebrew - required.
