For more information, click here for our Total Rewards summary.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES:\nFacilitate existing training on a variety of topics including, but not limited to: conflict resolution, customer service, emotional intelligence, personal & professional development, leadership, change management, workplace inclusion, and Franklin Covey course content. \nDevelop and foster strong, trusting, and professional relationships across the organization as a representative of the HR Training Team. \nSynthesize information, relay questions, and communicate with other HR Team members regarding employee learning needs and training requests. \nSupport efforts related to the County’s LEAD program which is aimed at developing leadership skills and promoting employee retention at all levels of the organization. \nUtilize a variety of methods and platforms to deliver engaging training, including, but not limited to: Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and in-person/classroom. \nAssist the HR Training Team with reviewing and providing feedback on courses in development (instructor led and self-paced), as needed. \nAttend occasional HR All Staff and/or Training Team meetings as needed. \nAssist with other tasks and projects as needed. \nQUALIFICATIONS:\nResearch shows that women and other underrepresented and historically marginalized groups tend to apply only when they check every box in the posting. A true passion and excitement for making an impact is just as important as work experience.\nQualifications: \nEducation: High School Diploma or GED \nExperience: Minimum of 2 years of work-related experience facilitating training courses in both virtual and in-person environments. \n*Note: An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nDynamic skills in group facilitation, coaching, conflict resolution, and team building, with the ability to engage and hold the attention of others for extended periods of time (up to 7 hours per day). \nExperience speaking to large, diverse groups of adult learners in a variety of settings. \nExcellent business acumen, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze, organize, and present data for a variety of organizational audiences. \nExperience facilitating training and effectively re-directing/managing occasional challenging classroom dynamics. \nAbility to listen, influence, and convey ideas clearly in front of groups. \nAbility to self-advocate and be self-directed on daily work with minimal supervision. \nKeen awareness of and sensitivity to maintaining confidentiality across an organization. \nExperience with Zoom and Microsoft Teams as facilitation platforms. \nExperience with O365, including SharePoint, PowerPoint, Forms, Word, and Excel. \nCompetence with facilitation-related technology and troubleshooting. \nProfessional work ethic and ability to create and maintain an environment of safety. \nPossess exceptional verbal and written communication skills. \nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:\nDriver’s License: Positions that require driving on County business in either a county or personal vehicle require a valid Colorado’s driver’s license within 30-days of hire or beginning to serve as an intern or volunteer. \nPre-Employment Screening: Offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of criminal history, motor vehicle report, education verification, and/or references for all positions. \nAccommodations Statement: We encourage people with disabilities to apply and are committed to providing reasonable accommodations throughout our hiring process.
