You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate records regarding payments to suppliers, handling their queries, and improving department processes.\nThis entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in finance. While previous finance experience is a bonus, we will provide hands-on training. Working to structured twice-monthly review cycles, you will have a supportive environment to master the core fundamentals.\nPlease note that this position will begin as a six-month, full-time, fixed-term role; but there is potential to extend it beyond the initial six months.\nResponsibilities\nEnsure all documentation from suppliers and creditors and expense employees are monitored, effectively processed and paid on time.\n\nManage the data throughput in the department to ensure that purchase orders are managed and processed efficiently.\n\nReconcile supplier statements and other balance sheet data on a monthly basis.\n\nManage the Accounts Payable Inbox, including ServiceNow AP ticketing system.\n\nBuild and maintain relationships with employees, vendors and clients.\n\nHelp with weekly and monthly cash forecasting.\n\nSupport ongoing initiatives to standardise, simplify and automate financial processes.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree or master's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.\n\nKnowledge of accounting and management principles, and accounts payable procedures.\n\nSome experience analysing information and processes in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.\n\nFamiliarity with bookkeeping software or Enterprise Resource Planning systems.\n\nCommitment to ethical behaviour, with adherence to company policies and relevant financial regulations.\n\nWhen faced with a problem, you collaborate with the appropriate people to evaluate different options find practical solutions.\n\nYou embrace challenges as opportunities and seek feedback to enhance your skills.\n\nNote: We emphasise skills, expertise and behavioural attributes over years of experience and traditional degrees.
