The Associate will support underwriters and agents to ensure delivery, follow-up and servicing requirements of all new business and renewal accounts.\nThis position will be an in-office role in our office in Red Bank, NJ. \nResponsibilities:\nDevelop the ability to perform risk selection and analysis by examining and evaluating documents such as application forms, inspections reports, financial reports, product brochures, company referral agreements, and other pertinent documents to determine the degree of risk, underwriting and market selection.\nBuild relationships with agents through in-house placement of new business.\nEffectively communicate with agent or broker clients, company underwriters, internal staff and management to obtain additional information, quote rates, as well as servicing existing accounts.\nConnect with carrier underwriters to assist in learning coverage, guidelines, and technology.\nMaintain renewal book of business/premium as required.\nAddress assigned workload within quality, productivity and service standards as established by the company/underwriting guidelines.\nAppropriate and timely response to questions posed by brokers, clients, underwriters and other company personnel.\nSpecial projects as needed.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s Degree preferred.\n2-5 years of similar related job experience in the insurance industry.\nFunctional knowledge of product offerings, insurance concepts, practices and procedures.\nStrong communication skills and drive for customer excellence.\nThis role will be an In-Office position. \nThe base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. Discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded.
