Today, MiniCo is amember of the Jencap Program Administrators division, offering multiple specialty property and casualty insurance products for a variety of unique industries and exposures. \nThe Claims Assistant will work a hybrid schedule from our Phoenix AZ, office.\nResponsibilities\nTake incoming new and existing claim calls.\nAbility to communicate effectively with the public.\nAbility to analyze information received when a new claim is submitted\nAbility to enter check requests and reserves from the adjuster\nDo monthly reporting as requested\nPay and track vendor invoices\nGenerate letters and other correspondence based on claim type\nFollow appropriate claims procedures for the reserving, and payment of loss or expense.\nReview coverage questions with claims Manager and/or appropriate personnel of the principal.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\n1 - 2 years of Insurance experience preferred.\nUnderstanding of business line of products, policy language, exclusions, forms/endorsements, and effective claims handling practices.\nAttention to detail ensuring accuracy.\nThe base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. Discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded.
