From our stores across the country to our operations and corporate teams, we believe in the power of a workplace that’s built on diversity and inclusion-where the varied voices and viewpoints of our community pave the way.\nRole and Responsibilities:\nMaximize sales across apparel, accessories, and home, while providing friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable customer service\nEngage with customers to understand their individual wardrobe, styling, and home needs and provide thoughtful product recommendations\nDevelop strong product knowledge across our apparel and home collections to confidently educate customers on products, materials, fit, styling, and functionality\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and keep an updated client book to support ongoing outreach and sales\nDrive sales through clienteling, consignments, and partnerships with Interior Designers and wardrobe stylists\nAssist customers with styling apparel and curating home products that reflect the Jenni Kayne lifestyle and aesthetic\nHandle all point-of-sale transactions, including sales, exchanges, refunds, gift cards, and gift wrap\nTake an active role in all store operations, including maintaining displays, assisting with stock transfers, replenishing merchandise, and receiving new products\nParticipate in store events and other initiatives designed to drive customer engagement and sales\nEncourage customers to sign up for Jenni Kayne Rewards and engage with us on our social media platforms\nCommunicate effectively by sharing customer and business feedback with management and contributing to daily business recaps\nSecure company assets through loss prevention practices in compliance with company policies and guidelines\nQualifications and Requirements:\nMinimum of 1+ years of experience in retail sales; apparel, fashion, home, furniture, or lifestyle retail experience preferred\nExperience or a strong interest in apparel styling and home interiors\nPassion for delivering an elevated and personalized customer experience\nCan-do attitude and commitment to providing excellent customer service\nWillingness and availability to work during peak business periods, including weekends and holidays\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nKnowledge and experience with POS and inventory management systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel\nComfortable working collaboratively in a team environment\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States\nMust be able to lift and move objects weighing 20 pounds or more from time to time, as required\nAdditional Notes:\nThis job description is not all-inclusive.
