As a result, we continually strive to make Jennison a fulfilling and rewarding place to work for all employees.\nOur Function\nThe Technical Business Analyst sits within our front office technology team and partners closely with Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts, Sales & Distribution, Marketing, and other investment professionals to design and deliver innovative data, analytics, and AI-driven solutions. Our team is building the next generation of investment technology by leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Power Automate, AI, and modern cloud technologies. You will play a key role in understanding business processes, analyzing enterprise data, identifying opportunities for automation, and helping deliver intelligent solutions that improve decision-making and productivity. The ideal candidate is naturally curious, enjoys solving complex business problems through data, and wants to help shape the future of AI-enabled investment technology.\nYour Impact\nYour responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:\nPartner directly with business stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and strategic objectives.\nGather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.\nAnalyze enterprise data using SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and other analytical tools to identify trends, insights, and business opportunities.\nDesign dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions using Power BI.\nDesign and implement business workflow automation using Power Automate and related Microsoft Power Platform technologies.\nIdentify opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence to improve business processes, automate workflows, enhance reporting, and deliver intelligent user experiences.\nWork closely with software developers throughout solution design, development, testing, and deployment.\nCreate user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.\nValidate data quality and ensure solutions meet business requirements.\nSupport Agile development activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, user acceptance testing, and production support.\nYour Required Skills & Qualifications:\nYour required skills must include:\nBachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.\n2-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role.\nStrong SQL skills with experience analyzing and validating enterprise data.\nHands-on experience developing dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI.\nExperience building business process automations using Power Automate.\nExperience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications and user stories.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.\nExperience working within Agile software development teams.\nExperience using or implementing AI-enabled business solutions, including Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, intelligent document processing, workflow automation, conversational AI, or similar technologies.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, Azure, or modern cloud analytics platforms.\nExperience supporting investment management, financial services, or capital markets.\nExperience with Power Apps and Power Platform solution development.\nExperience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery methodologies.\nKnowledge of relational databases including Oracle and SQL Server.\nExperience with ESG, financial market, investment, or reference data.\nProgramming or scripting experience using Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.\nPassion for applying AI and modern analytics to improve business processes and user experiences.\nWhat We Offer\nJennison offers a generous benefits package including but not limited to: premier medical benefits, paid time off, a retirement profit sharing plan, wellness reimbursement, fully paid parental leave, family planning support, paid membership to concierge primary care, supplemental mental wellness benefit provides annual allotment of fully paid therapy sessions and unlimited coaching, additional health and wellness benefits, and life insurance. Individual salaries for this role may vary based on various factors including but not limited to, years of experience, range in corporate level, candidate skills, and geographic location.
