Works within the BI team to extract, transform, and load data from Ross, D365 F&O, and other source systems into the data warehouse, ensuring data is accurate, timely, and well-structured for downstream Power BI reporting. Builds and optimizes pipelines for performance and reliability; writes and tunes complex SQL; monitors and resolves ETL job failures; maintains data quality through validation, error handling, and logging; documents data flows and transformation logic; and supports data warehouse architecture and dimensional modeling. Position is onsite full time at PITCORP, with two remote days per month after the initial ramp period.\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, or in a similar data engineering role.\nStrong hands-on SQL development and tuning experience.\nOracle database experience.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nSolid understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data warehousing principles, and data integration best practices.\nAbility to independently troubleshoot data discrepancies and diagnose pipeline failures.\nPreferred experience with WhereScape RED or TimeXtender. \nPreferred experience with Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse, and Dataverse.\nPreferred experience with D365 Finance & Operations.\nPreferred DBA experience.\nPreferred experience with dimensional modeling, SSIS, and Power BI.\nPreferred experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nDesign, build, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines supporting reporting and analytics.\nExtract, transform, and load data from Ross, D365 F&O, and other source systems into the data warehouse.\nEnsure data is accurate, timely, reliable, and well-structured for downstream reporting.\nWrite, optimize, and tune complex SQL queries and processes.\nMonitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot and resolve pipeline failures.\nImplement data validation, error handling, and logging to maintain data quality.\nDocument data flows, transformation logic, and integration processes.\nSupport data warehouse architecture and dimensional modeling.\nCollaborate with the BI team to support Power BI reporting and analytics needs.\nBuild and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.\n*Excellent benefits include medical with a standard PPO plan with deductibles as low as $1,500 and wellness credit up to $750;
