This position performs routine laboratory and quality-control testing, documents test results, assists with investigations of product and raw-material issues, and helps verify products meet established specifications and quality standards.\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or a degree in chemistry, materials science, or a related field preferred; equivalent laboratory or manufacturing experience may be considered. \n1-2 years of laboratory, quality-control, manufacturing, or related technical experience preferred\nBasic understanding of chemistry, laboratory practices, measurements, and safe material handling.\nBasic mathematical skills, including the ability to perform calculations, conversions, and measurements.\nBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry.\nStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.\nJOB REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to accurately follow written procedures and standardized test methods.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.\nExcellent observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with production teams.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nDependability with consistent attendance and punctuality.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining accuracy.\nAbility to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the workday.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nPerform routine testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.\nAccurately record test results, observations, calculations, and other laboratory data in appropriate quality and laboratory records.\nIdentify, document, and communicate out-of-specification or unusual results to supervisor.\nAssist with root cause investigations and corrective actions for quality issues.\nMaintain calibration records and ensure inspection equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.\nEnsure compliance with company quality policies, customer requirements, and workplace safety procedures.\nParticipate in continuous improvement activities related to laboratory procedures, testing methods, product quality, and manufacturing processes.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods.\nMay occasionally require work in manufacturing areas, warehouses, customer facilities, or outdoor field-testing environments.\n*Excellent benefits include medical with a standard PPO plan with deductibles as low as $1,500 and wellness credit up to $750;
