Learn from some of the industry leading professionals and gain experience towards your career goals of becoming an engineer. We provide technical support to a wide variety of engineering projects that range from day-to-day nuclear power plant operation to cutting edge research and development in all areas related to plant safety. Many interns at our company become full-time Associates upon graduation. \nResponsibilities\nLearn to perform probabilistic risk assessments (PRA) and engineering analyses.\nDevelop technical documentation to support the safe operation of nuclear power plants.\nDemonstrate a solid grasp of engineering fundamentals.\nAdapt quickly to learning new concepts and methodologies.\nApply an analytical mindset to problem-solving.\nPay meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.\nDeliver clear and concise oral and written presentations as a consultant.\nRequirements and Qualifications\nWorking towards a BS or MS in Mechanical, Nuclear, Electrical, Chemical, or other related field \nPrior experience with nuclear technology (e.g., United States Navy Nuclear Program) is a plus\nExcellent communication skills\nUS Citizenship or Green card holder required \nProficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Access database tools to track/analyze data in support of various risk analysis tasks\nMathCAD experience a plus \nPlease note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting and not a guarantee of compensation.
