The work involves understanding how different parts of the engine interact and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, responsiveness and resource utilisation.\nYour background could come from AAA games, game engines, rendering, simulation or another environment where you have worked extensively with performance-critical C++ systems.\nYour responsibilities\nProfile, analyse and optimise performance within ForeFlight's core C++ engine.\n\nIdentify and resolve performance bottlenecks across areas such as CPU/GPU utilisation, memory and multithreading.\n\nWork with performance-critical engine components, including rendering and graphics infrastructure.\n\nCollaborate with other engineers to improve engine architecture, profiling and performance across the product.\n\nYour background\nYou are an experienced C++ engineer with a strong understanding of what happens beneath the application layer.
