This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite 1-2 days a week. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.\nEmployer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):\nEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor/Masters) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience.\n3+ years in software development or advanced technical support role\nGood knowledge in Python language\nGood knowledge of Unix and/or Linux\nGood knowledge with shell scripting\nFamiliar with AWS concepts\nGood knowledge in version control systems such as Git and Mercurial\nFluency in English language\nPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):\nParticular interest in technical problem solving\nExperience with AWS\n24X7 work environment on call\nStrong programming skills\nDatabases (Oracle or Postgresql)\nKnowledge of Kubernetes is beneficial\nMessaging systems such as Activemq\nCustomer relationship experience is advantageous\nHighly responsible, able to take ownership of issues\nStrong technical & analytical aptitude\nAble to work independently and within a team\nRelocation:\nRelocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
