This role requires expertise in pre bid / development activities, contract development, negotiation, supplier engagement and post award contract management. The Package Procurement Lead will work in close collaboration with the Package Manager to ensure competitive, compliant and value driven contracting outcomes.\nIn this role you will:\nLead engagement with the supply chain to assess market capabilities, risks and opportunities.\n\nSupport pre-bid activities by developing procurement plans, cost models and risk assessments aligned with project timelines.\n\nCollaborate with Category and Project teams to define technical and commercial requirements for the package.\n\nPrepare and lead RFIs and RFQ / RFPs\n\nDraft and negotiate contracts for the package, ensuring alignment with project specifications, timelines and governance standards.\n\nApply FIDIC or other relevant contract principles and best practices to manage risk allocation and compliance\n\nDraft and negotiate Preferred Supplier Agreements to secure strategic partnerships and long-term value for the business\n\nDevelop and implement project contracting strategies and effectively support the Package Manager in delivery of the contracted workscope\n\nDrive innovation and cost optimisation in third party spend while ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence\n\nEnsure all procurement activities comply with internal governance, external regulations and local requirements.\n\nContribute to cost and claims avoidance strategies\n\nSupport LCOE (Levelised Cost of Energy) optimisation initiatives.\n\nRequirements\nTo be successful in the role you will bring:\nProven experience in procurement and contracting within Offshore Wind or large scale energy projects\n\nStrong knowledge of FIDIC & BIMCO contract principles and application in complex projects\n\nExperience in drafting and negotiating contacts for the relevant category package\n\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills\n\nAbility to lead pre bid activities and develop strategic procurement plans\n\nStrong analytical and commercial acumen with focus on risk management and value\n\nWhat you can expect from us:\nWorking at JERA Nex bp means being part of a global leader in offshore wind, where innovation, collaboration, and sustainability drive everything we do.
