A key part of the role is understanding how data flows through our production environments, how it can be structured and analyzed, and how it can be used to create value for the organization.\nYou will work with everything from data flows and pre-processing to analysis and visualization of production data. The role also includes exploring how advanced analytics, Machine Learning and AI can be applied to our processes and technical information.\nYou will work closely with our production systems and data infrastructure, where Python, databases, data workflows and DCS data are important components. Experience of ABB 800xA is particularly valuable.\nAs AI becomes an increasingly important part of our technical landscape, you will also contribute to developing and evaluating solutions based on Machine Learning and LLM-based AI. Cybersecurity and secure data handling are natural considerations throughout this work.\nYour main responsibilities\nDevelop secure, robust and scalable data solutions for production environments.\nCollect, process, analyze and visualize technical and production data using Python, databases and data workflows.\nWork with industrial process and DCS data, including ABB 800xA.\nExplore and develop solutions using Machine Learning, advanced analytics and LLM-based AI.\nDesign and evaluate data and AI workflows, including feasibility studies for new technical solutions.\nEnsure cybersecurity aspects are considered in data and AI solutions.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, procedures and models to support system users.\n\nYour profile\nA Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or another relevant technical field\nExperience with Python and data analysis\nKnowledge of databases and data workflows\nExperience with data processing and visualization\nFluency in English, both written and spoken\nExperience or knowledge within the following areas is considered meritorious:\nDCS environments, particularly ABB 800xA\nMachine Learning and advanced data analytics\nGenerative AI and LLM-based solutions\nCybersecurity in data or industrial environments\nWorking in Linux environments\nWho are you?\nTo thrive in this position, we believe you are analytical, curious and solution-oriented.
