This position is responsible for supporting, developing, improving, and monitoring the manufacturing processes to ensure the successful and cost-effective production of iron powder.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\nTroubleshoots, recommends, and develops solutions through equipment or process changes that reduce costs, increase production, and improve quality, environment, and safety.\nEducates production members on proper operation of equipment and preventative maintenance.\nDevelops equipment FMEAs and recommends, purchases, and coordinates parts, equipment, and services.\nEnsures all quality assurance guidelines are followed through the manufacturing process.\nProvides management reports as requested.\nMaintains inventory in M3 and works with Supply Chain to establish reorder points.\nInvestigates accidents and customer complaints and identifies root causes and provides corrective actions.\nSchedule and oversee subcontractors including the completion of contractor pre-task planning, EHS review, and contractor passport.\nMaintains a safe working environment for themselves and others.\nActively exhibits leadership capabilities in all aspects of their work.\nDisplays conscious awareness of what is required to ensure a sustainable Höganäs.\nQualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with preferably demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in writing detailed engineering reports.
