This role contributes to accurate financial reporting, timely month-end close activities, and responsive support to internal teams and aircraft owners.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nPrepare monthly balance sheets and income statements for aircraft owners summarizing aircraft activity as part of the month-end close process.\nPrepare and post journal entry accruals, deferrals, and reclasses.\nReview owner statement pass-through financials for accuracy.\nPerform reconciliations between flight software and the general ledger.\nProcess member trip invoicing in flight software, verify billing data from Client Services, and enter/post sales transactions in the general ledger.\nRespond to follow-up questions from customers, aircraft owners, and base Presidents; provide supporting documentation, address discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.\nProcess fuel and vendor invoices in flight software and enter/post payables in the general ledger.\nReconcile pilot credit cards and accurately apply charges to trips and/or client invoices.\nMaintain knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures.\nRegular and predictable on-site attendance.\nDemonstrate Jet Linx’s core values and “Supply the High” in all interactions.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nSkills & Abilities:\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization and with customers.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team.\nSelf-motivated with the initiative to research and resolve issues.\nBasic understanding of general accounting principles.\nAbility to learn and adhere to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn accounting and flight operations software.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.\nAbility to operate standard office equipment.\nEducation and Work Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field, required\nNo previous accounting experience required.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMajority of work is performed in a standard office environment.\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.\nAbility to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear to perform daily job functions.\nAbility to occasionally move up to 25 pounds.\nDocumentation Requirements:\nAbility to obtain a U.S. driver's license\nProof of eligibility to work in the US\nCompensation:\nJet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package to team members. Starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $58,500 to $75,000 . Actual base salary provided is dependent upon geographic location, aircraft size (crew positions), relevant education, training and experience of the candidate.
