We need someone who can take ownership of technical product marketing across Rider, ReSharper, and dotUltimate, ensuring our messaging cuts through industry noise and focuses on genuine developer needs.\nIn this role, you’ll dig into products and developer workflows yourself, identify the stories worth telling, and help determine how we bring them to market. You will work closely with Product Managers, software engineers, Developer Advocates, Research, Growth, and other Marketing teams. Decisions here live close to the work - you’ll have the autonomy to generate ideas, test new campaign approaches, and shape product messaging without needing permission at every step.\nDay to day, you will:\nDevelop clear positioning, messaging, and product stories around Rider, ReSharper, dotUltimate, and related .NET developer experiences.\nTurn complex technical capabilities and developer workflows into clear content, including launch stories, product pages, blog posts, case studies, video scripts, and campaign assets.\nOwn product and feature marketing for key capabilities, working from product priorities and product manager input to shape developer-facing stories.\nCoordinate selected release marketing workflows, including planning and producing What’s New content and ensuring release stories are accurately represented.\nBuild a deep understanding of .NET developers, their workflows, customer needs, market trends, and community conversations to shape priorities and campaigns.\nDevelop and execute developer-focused campaigns around important product bets, defining the audience, message, channels, assets, and measures of success.\nExtend product stories beyond release day through follow-up content, campaigns, customer stories, and amplification.\nMeasure the performance of launches, content, and campaigns, share what we learn, and adjust our approach when needed.\nHelp tell the evolving story of professional developer tools as AI changes how software is built, including workflows involving agents and code intelligence.\nContribute hands-on by writing articles, testing features, building briefs, editing landing pages, and capturing product visuals directly on demo projects.\nWhat you’ll bring\nHigh technical curiosity and a deep respect for developer workflows and software craft.\nComfort taking ownership, making decisions independently, and carrying ambiguous opportunities through execution.\nA habit of asking good questions and challenging assumptions constructively before building a campaign.\nClear, direct communication style with an ability to explain complex technical ideas clearly and credibly.\nStrong organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams and collaborate smoothly across distributed teams.\nA pragmatic approach that balances strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and hands-on execution.\nWhat you’ll need\nPractical experience in technical product marketing, developer marketing, or a comparable role for a technical software product.\nAbility to understand software development well enough to work directly with engineers and translate technical capabilities into developer benefits.\nProven track record of bringing software products, features, or releases to market within frequent release cycles.\nSolid understanding of positioning, messaging, audience segmentation, channel selection, and campaign measurement.\nExcellent written and spoken English, with the ability to create compelling technical content and collaborate effectively with global teams.\nWe’d be especially thrilled if you:\nHave worked on developer tools, IDEs, APIs, SDKs, cloud or developer infrastructure, DevOps, or another product built for software developers.\nHave hands-on development experience or regularly work with code and developer tooling.\nKnow C#, .NET, Rider, ReSharper, Visual Studio, VS Code, or related developer ecosystems.\nHave marketed AI-assisted development tools or are familiar with modern coding agents and AI developer workflows.\nHave created technical content such as case studies, tutorials, product videos, demos, technical articles, or developer-focused campaigns.\nHave experience working directly with developer communities or technical customers, including through webinars, interviews, or customer conversations.\nWhat success looks like\nSuccess means crafting clear, credible product narratives that help .NET developers understand the value of our tools, earning the trust of product and engineering teams, and continuously improving how we bring releases and campaigns to market.\nWhy join JetBrains?\nStrong base salary.
