The Field Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that the HVAC installation teams are fully supported and equipped to perform their work safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role bridges field operations and leadership, with a focus on readiness, resource allocation, and real-time problem-solving to drive team success. As we continue to iterate the processes and procedures that ensure the highest installation quality and efficiency, this role will play an integral role by contributing to the knowledge base.\nWhat You Will Do:\nEnsure daily readiness of field teams by coordinating tools, equipment, vehicles, parts, and job documentation.\nAct as the primary liaison between the field crew and internal departments such as logistics, procurement, and scheduling.\nConduct site visits to provide support, coaching, and quality assurance for active installation projects.\nMonitor and enforce company safety standards and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.\nIdentify operational obstacles and work proactively to resolve issues that impact field productivity or installation timelines.\nConduct pre-installation walkthroughs to ensure all project parameters \nMaintain an up-to-date understanding of the staffing needs based relevant business inputs.\nTrain and mentor field technicians to improve workmanship, efficiency, and customer service.\nReview completed installations to ensure quality standards and customer expectations are met or exceeded.\nSupport warranty and rework investigations and help implement corrective action plans.\nProvide performance feedback and assist with evaluations of field team members.\nCollaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine operational procedures and best practices.\nWhat You Bring:\nProven experience as an HVAC install team member and team lead.\nMechanical Contracting License (Westchester/Rockland/Orange County); coverage extending into Rockland and/or Putnam County is strongly preferred.\nEPA Section 608 certification required. NATE certification preferred.\nCurrent Westchester County Home Improvement License.\n5+ years in a management role, overseeing field teams.\nStrong knowledge of HVAC systems including heat pumps.\nAbility to lead, coach, and motivate field personnel.\nAbility to read blueprints and schematics.\nFamiliarity with building codes and regulations.\nExcellent English communications and customer service skills.\nProficiency with scheduling software, mobile work apps, field management tools and general business tools expertise.\nValid driver's license and clean driving record.\nExcellent problem-solving and organizational skills.\nFollows OSHA Electrical Standard.\nFollows the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) standard.\nJob Type: Full-time, Permanent\nPay: $118,000 - $131,000 per annum\nBenefits:\nDental Care, Vision Care & Life Insurance premiums fully paid by Jetson\nHealth Insurance premium 85% paid by Jetson \nEducation Support\nParental Leave Top Up\n401k program\nWork Location: In person - White Plains, NY\nDo you feel like you don't have everything that's listed above but can still do the job?
