That future will only be possible if we share our vision and what it means to people’s lives: carbon-free flight that'isbetter for both passengers and airlines around the world. \nThe Senior Aircraft Systems Integrator will lead the technical integration of aircraft systems across laboratories, ground test environments, and the Demonstrator aircraft. This role serves as the critical bridge between individual system teams, test and laboratory organizations, safety engineering, and aircraft integration activities to ensure a cohesive and executable path from system development through aircraft-level verification.\nThe successful candidate will work across disciplines to define integration strategies, identify inter-system dependencies, establish verification and test sequencing, and validate aircraft-level assumptions related to installation, environmental conditions, interfaces, and operational scenarios. This position plays a key role in reducing integration risk and ensuring aircraft readiness for test and flight operations.\nWhat You'll Do:\nLead cross-functional aircraft integration across avionics, flight controls, propulsion, electrical power, hydraulics, ECS, structures, and supporting subsystems.\nOwn aircraft-level interfaces, dependencies, conflicts, and technical issue resolution throughout design and integration.\nDevelop integrated verification and test strategies spanning system development, laboratories, aircraft integration, and flight test.\nDefine verification sequencing, integration milestones, test objectives, success criteria, and readiness for major events.\nConnect development labs, integration facilities, and the Demonstrator while ensuring representative configurations and environments.\nPlan phased integration and risk-reduction activities before aircraft installation.\nValidate aircraft-level assumptions for environmental conditions, installation effects, system interactions, operational scenarios, failure propagation, and functionality.\nCoordinate with Safety Engineering on hazards, safety assessments, concern closure, and evidence of operational readiness.\nIdentify integration risks, critical-path dependencies, and readiness criteria; lead technical reviews and communicate status and mitigation plans to program leadership.\nWhat You Bring:\nBachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline.\n10+ years of aerospace engineering experience with aircraft development, integration, testing, or certification programs.\nDemonstrated experience working across multiple aircraft systems and engineering disciplines.\nExperience defining and executing integrated test or verification strategies.\nStrong understanding of aircraft development lifecycles from design through flight test.\nExcellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills\nPreferred Skills & Experience\nExperience with laboratory integration environments, iron bird testing, or hardware/software integration.\nKnowledge of verification and validation planning.\nExperience supporting aircraft safety assessments, FHA, PSSA, SSA, or equivalent activities.\nExperience supporting flight test programs and aircraft integration campaigns.\nPrevious experience on experimental, demonstrator, military, or commercial aircraft development programs.\nCompensation: \nOur compensation package is a blend of base salary and equity options for eligible employees. The range for this role is $180,000-$220,000.
