JFrog is seeking an exceptional and passionate Senior Software Engineer to drive the design and development of our next-generation SaaS Management Platform. If you’re driven by the challenge of designing and developing cutting-edge platforms, this is the opportunity for you. As a Senior Software Engineer at JFrog, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and operation of a high-impact SaaS Management Platform, which serves as the control plane for a world-class DevSecOps cloud service. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, development teams, DevOps, and SRE to ensure the highest standards for Security, scalability, availability, and stability across the JFrog SaaS ecosystem.

As a Senior Software Engineer at JFrog, you will...

• Join the team responsible for building JFrog’s SaaS Management Platform, the robust, high-availability system that orchestrates tenants' lifecycle in complex multi-cluster, multi-region deployments
• Design and develop scalable, reliable, and intuitive capabilities that support the operational and lifecycle needs of JFrog’s SaaS offerings
• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP, leveraging Kubernetes to deliver an efficient and reliable infrastructure layer for our engineering teams
• Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, and DevOps to translate business objectives into platform features, ensuring we deliver immediate value to both internal developers and external SaaS users
• Continuously improve developer productivity by creating self-service tooling, minimizing manual interventions, and integrating cloud and Kubernetes services
• Work with diverse and cutting-edge technologies, including Kubernetes, K8s Operators, ArgoCD, Prometheus, Kafka, MongoDB, Helm, and Istio, while developing expertise in these areas
• Leverage AI tools in your daily work, using tools that build better software faster and boost productivity

To be a Senior Platform Engineering Developer at JFrog, you need…

• Development Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and managing scalable systems on cloud infrastructure.
• Technical Design: Proven ability to translate complex product requirements into clear technical designs and execution plans, with a strong track record of unifying diverse internal services into high-availability SaaS solutions.
• AI & LLM Expertise: Hands-on experience architecting and deploying backend services integrated with AI/LLM workflows, along with practical experience using AI tools to accelerate development and optimize engineering workflows.
• Server-Side Proficiency: Strong background in server-side development, with fluency in at least one of the following: Java, Go, Python, .NET, or Node.js.
• Infrastructure & Orchestration: Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including designing operators, controllers, or multi-cluster management systems.
• Cloud Proficiency: Practical experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP); multi-cloud experience is a plus.
• Platform Engineering: Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) and working on high-scale products is a significant advantage.
