Field Engineers who perform well are developed into Superintendentsand Project Managers- not just told there's \"room to grow.\" Annual merit reviews and advancement are tied directly to demonstrated field performance and project responsibility, so your next step is based on what you do, not just tenure.\nThe Kind of Work You'll Be Doing\nJGM self-performs complex industrial and heavy construction work, including:\nStructural steel erection\nMechanical installation and process piping\nEquipment setting and millwright work\nYou'll work across industries like metals & steel, power generation, mining & minerals, oil/gas & chemical, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, and bridge/highway/building infrastructure- the kind of projects most engineers only read about.\nWhat You'll Do Day to Day\nSupport daily site operations alongside Superintendents and Project Managers, from mobilization through project completion\nTrack and manage RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings\nMonitor progress against the schedule and flag issues before they become delays\nWalk the site regularly to verify work matches plans and quality standards\nHelp keep the job running safely, on schedule, and on budget\nWhat We're Looking For\nBackground in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent field experience or related education)\nComfortable with heavy travel and extended hours during active project phases\nCurrently working as a Project Engineer, Construction Engineer, Field Engineer, or Assistant Superintendent looking for a clearer path up?
