The position will perform routine daily activities and assist in gathering and distributing information to team members and subcontractors.\nREQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:\nCore Duties / Responsibilities:\nOversees document control processes (submittals, RFI’s, ASI’s, change management, etc.) with the support of the Project Manager\nManages submittal and procurement tracking for process equipment and long-lead items, prioritizing releases consistent with the project schedule.\nSupports process piping, mechanical piping, and yard piping scopes by tracking materials, deliveries, and installed quantities.\nAssist Superintendent with site safety documentation.\nAssist with developing and updating project CPM schedule.\nAssist in implementation of project specific QC Plan and Assist in verification of quality of work put in place (QC conformance & punch list administration).\nFacilitating subcontractor and supplier coordination, and procurement working in conjunction with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager leading the project team.\nOversees material procurement tracking, submittal logs, and RFI logs.\nAssists Project Superintendent with material inventories and self-perform/subcontractor quantities completed to date by verifying delivered and installed quantities and managing tracking logs.\nWorks with project team to ensure site has full-time coverage in mornings, evenings, and possible weekends.\nOversees project closeout process (warranties, O&M’s, as-built drawings, owner training, etc.)\nAccurate note taking at project meetings and distribution of meeting minutes both internally and externally.\nExposure to project budget tracking, subcontractor pay application approval, invoice approval, and owner pay applications.\nOther duties as assigned.\nEducation / Experience / Training:\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering or minimum two (2) years of experience in the construction industry.\nWater/wastewater, utility, or heavy civil project experience (Preferred), including treatment plants, pump/lift stations, large diameter transmission and distribution, storage, or collection systems.\nExperience verifying shop drawings and documentation of installation for equipment and process piping is highly preferred.\nExperience supporting commissioning and programming operations of PLC integration (Preferred)\nUnderstanding of water and/or wastewater treatment plant operations and construction logistics for process equipment installation, mechanical piping, yard piping, and concrete scopes of work.\nMaintain OSHA 30 (minimum) and recommend refresher training.\nObtain as required - project specific and equipment operation safety training.\nAttend training for operational software as needed to stay current.\nSeek training from Superintendents and/or PMs on all areas of self-assessed or assessed opportunities for improvement.\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:\nProficiency in the following:Microsoft Office Suite\nAsta Power Project\nBluebeam\nHeavy Job\nProcore\n\nStrong technology skills.\nAbility to read and understand drawings and specifications.\nProficient with building/estimating techniques.\nStrong initiative.\nThe ability to work effectively in a team environment.\nPositive professional attitude, and strong customer service skills\nBe a champion of JHL’s vision, purpose, values, brand promise, and overall brand.\nStrong attention to detail.\nEffective organization skills.\nDemonstrates resilience in challenging situations.\nPrioritizes safety and quality.\nHave a sense of urgency in all tasks.\nShows adaptability to changing circumstances.\nEngages in interactive communication.\nProficient in project management.\nCapable problem solver.\nPhysical Requirements:\nPhysical Requirements: OFFICE\n% of Work Time\nMust have the ability to remain in a seated position 90%\nMust have the ability to speak, write and comprehend English language 100%\nMust have the ability to lift office products and supplies, up to 20 lbs 20%\nMust have the ability to hear clearly 100%\nMust have the ability to stoop, kneel, bend and reach 10%\nMust have dexterity to write and manipulate computer keyboard and mouse 100%\nTOTAL COMPENSATION:\nAnnual Bonus Eligible for participation.\nOvertime No\nPaid Time Off Yes\n401(k) Yes - Eligible after 3 months of employment.\nHealth Insurance Yes - Eligible the month following your first 30 days of employment.\nShort Term Disability Yes - Eligible the month following your first 30 days of employment.\nLong Term Disability Yes - Eligible the month following your first 30 days of employment.\nLife Insurance Yes - 1X Annual Salary up to $150K.
