The position will contribute to providing programmatic and administrative support in the implementation of project activities, supporting the Senior State Program Manager in overall coordination with stakeholders and ensuring smooth execution of activities.\nResponsibilities\nCoordination and Stakeholder Engagement:Facilitate communication and collaboration with state and district officials, health facilities, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.\nSupport the projects in organizing meetings, workshops, and training sessions, including logistical arrangements and participant coordination.\n\nProgram Implementation:Assist in the planning and execution of project activities, such as training programs for Rapid Response Teams (RRTs), community-based surveillance enhancements, and biosafety protocol implementations.\nMonitor the progress of activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and reporting on key performance indicators.\n\nData Management and Reporting:Collect and manage data related to outbreak responses, laboratory confirmations, and community surveillance efforts.\nPrepare regular reports in coordination with the project team and other stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and timely submission.\n\nLogistical Support:Coordinate logistics for training sessions, simulations, and field visits, including venue arrangements, materials, and participant management.\nEnsure the timely procurement and distribution of necessary resources and equipment for project activities.\n\nCommunity Engagement:Support community-based surveillance efforts and trainings of health workers on active surveillance and early outbreak detection.\nAssist in the development and dissemination of risk communication materials to educate communities on preventing zoonotic disease spillovers.\n\nAdditional Duties:Perform or assume other duties as assigned by the supervisor to achieve the project goals.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s in arts/ commerce/ social sciences/ social work/ public health with Masters in any relevant discipline is essential.\nDiploma/Bachelors in Statistics, Computer Application, Demography or Data analytics will be an added advantage.\nMinimum 3 years of relevant work experience in programmatic, administrative and data support function.\nExperience in a similar role in public/development sector/ INGOs is highly desirable\nSkills and Competencies\nDemonstrated ability to multitask and work in a multicultural\nAttention to detail\nAbility to produce documents and coordinate activities independently\nAbility to handle a variety of assignments under pressure of deadlines\nExcellent organizational skills required\nExcellent English and Hindi communication skills\nDemonstrated skills on communications and knowledge management\nProficiency in computer skills particularly MS Office \nWillingness and flexibility to work on a wide range of tasks and travel up to 70% of time\nJhpiego is an equal opportunity employer and offers highly dynamic and enabling work environment.\nJhpiego offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive employee benefits package.
