This is a unique opportunity to influence company-wide people strategy while partnering closely with leaders across Europe and beyond.\nAs our Senior People Business Partner, you'll act as a trusted advisor to leaders, helping align people strategies with business goals while fostering a high-performance, values-driven culture. You'll work across the entire employee lifecycle-from attracting and developing exceptional talent to driving engagement, performance, retention, and organizational effectiveness. In addition, you'll lead our recruitment function & team, ensuring we continue to attract, hire, and develop exceptional talent. This role reports directly to the Global Head of People and offers a clear pathway to broader leadership opportunities within the People function.\nYour impact:\nPartner with business leaders to develop and execute strategic people plans aligned with company objectives.\n\nDrive organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.\n\nCoach leaders on performance management, leadership effectiveness, employee relations, and team effectiveness.\n\nBuild and nurture a high-performance culture through robust feedback, development, and performance practices.\n\nLead the end-to-end recruitment strategy and hiring process, partnering with leaders to attract, assess, and hire top talent across the business.\n\nLead, coach, and develop members of the Talent Acquisition Team, fostering collaboration, capability growth, and high performance.\n\nLead engagement and retention initiatives that improve employee experience and strengthen company culture.\n\nUse people analytics and HR data to identify trends, solve business challenges, and shape people strategy.\n\nChampion organizational development initiatives, including capability building, leadership development, change management, and growth frameworks.\n\nLeverage AI and innovative HR practices to improve productivity, decision-making, and employee outcomes.\n\nAct as a strategic thought partner during periods of transformation, growth, and organizational change.\n\nWhat you bring:\nMust-Haves\n5-8+ years of HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or People Partner experience.\n\n3+ years of people leadership experience, including leading and developing high-performing teams.\n\nProven experience leading end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition initiatives.\n\nExperience supporting fast-paced SaaS, technology, startup, or scale-up environments.\n\nStrong expertise in organizational development, talent management, succession planning, and leadership coaching.\n\nDemonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate business strategy into people initiatives.\n\nExperience using HR metrics, workforce analytics, and data-driven decision-making.\n\nProven track record of leveraging AI and technology to improve HR processes and outcomes.\n\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.\nNice-to-Haves\n\nExperience working in remote-first, distributed international organizations.\n\nExposure to European employment environments and multi-country workforce management.\n\nHR-related tertiary qualification or equivalent professional experience.\n\nBased in Germany, Spain, Italy, or another European location where Jimdo operates.\n\nWhat we offer: \nInspiring Mission: At our core, we are driven by a meaningful mission - to empower solopreneurs and small businesses to succeed and to contribute to the sustainability and vibrancy of the communities they serve.\nFlexibility and Trust: Our work environment thrives on flexibility and trust.
