Human Resources Management\nDevelop, implement and review human resources policies, procedures and strategies.\nOversee the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department.\nProvide strategic HR advice and guidance to senior management.\nEnsure that HR activities support the company's operational and business objectives.\nDevelop workforce planning strategies to ensure adequate staffing across departments.\n\n2. Recruitment and Selection\nCoordinate recruitment and selection processes for various departments.\nDevelop recruitment plans based on operational and workforce requirements.\nOversee job advertisements, candidate screening, interviews and selection.\nEnsure proper onboarding and orientation of new employees.\nMaintain accurate employee records and recruitment databases.\n\n3. Employee Relations and Labour Compliance\nManage employee relations and workplace disputes.\nHandle disciplinary procedures, grievances and conflict resolution.\nEnsure compliance with Zimbabwean labour legislation and applicable employment regulations.\nAdvise management on employment contracts, disciplinary matters and employee welfare.\nPromote positive working relationships between management and employees.\nRepresent the organisation in labour-related matters where required.\n\n4. Performance Management\nDevelop and implement employee performance management systems.\nCoordinate performance appraisals and employee evaluations.\nMonitor departmental performance and recommend improvement strategies.\nSupport managers in addressing employee performance challenges.\n\n5. Training and Development\nIdentify employee training and development needs.\nCoordinate technical, professional and management training programmes.\nDevelop succession planning and employee development strategies.\nSupport skills development and capacity building across the organisation.\n\n6. Compensation and Benefits\nOversee salary administration and employee benefits.\nEnsure accurate coordination of payroll-related HR information.\nReview compensation structures and recommend improvements.\nManage employee leave, attendance and other benefits administration.\n\n7. Occupational Health, Safety and Employee Welfare\nWork closely with safety departments to promote workplace safety.\nSupport employee welfare and occupational health initiatives.\nEnsure HR policies address the unique working conditions of mining and industrial environments.\nPromote employee engagement and workplace productivity.\n\nQualifications and Experience\n -A Master's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related discipline will be an added advantage.\n-Professional membership with a recognised HR body, such as the Institute of People Management of Zimbabwe (IPMZ), will be an advantage.\n-At least 5 years of relevant HR management experience, preferably in mining, steel manufacturing or heavy industry.\n-Strong knowledge of Zimbabwean labour laws and employment regulations.\n-Demonstrable experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management and workforce planning.\n-Excellent leadership and people management skills.\n-Strong negotiation, conflict resolution and decision-making abilities.\n-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.\n-Ability to manage a diverse workforce in a multicultural
