Its television network and streaming service together reach more than 750 million viewers every week, igniting the dreams and aspirations of hundreds of million people across geographies.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport the design and implementation of security configurations across public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), including IAM, security groups, WAFs, and other built-in security services\n\nContribute to securing hybrid infrastructure environments by following best practices around network segmentation, access control, and encryption\n\nHelp harden containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker) and ensure secure configurations of virtual machines and operating systems\n\nParticipate in defining and maintaining baseline security standards for applications, servers, and networks\n\nAssist in conducting regular cloud security reviews, identifying misconfigurations or vulnerabilities, and collaborating on remediation plans\n\nIntegrate security checks into CI/CD workflows using tools for static and dynamic analysis (SAST, DAST) and dependency scanning (SCA)\n\nWrite automation scripts (Python, Bash) to streamline security operations and contribute to Infrastructure as Code templates using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation\n\nSet up and fine-tune monitoring and logging for cloud environments using tools like CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and centralized SIEM platforms\n\nSupport the incident response team by gathering logs, performing initial triage, and contributing to investigations and reporting\n\nHelp prepare documentation and evidence for audits and compliance activities under standards like ISO 27001 and SOC 2\n\nCollaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to promote secure design principles during feature development, especially for large-scale OTT platforms handling sensitive user and content data\n\nStay updated on emerging security threats and trends in the media streaming space, and help implement controls tailored to OTT infrastructure challenges (e.g., CDN security, content DRM, platform abuse)\n\nSkills and attributes for success:\nHands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-native security tools\n\nProficiency in infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) and automation for security deployments\n\nExperience with SIEM, vulnerability management, and incident response tools\n\nFamiliarity with regulatory compliance frameworks and best practices\n\nStrong scripting/programming skills (Python, Shell, etc.) for task automation and tool building\n\nExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills\n\nPreferred Education and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related technical field; a Master’s degree is a plus\n\n3-6 years of experience in security engineering, cloud security, or a related infrastructure security role, preferably within fast-paced or media/OTT environments\n\nJioStar is an equal opportunity employer.
