But more than the tools, it’s the problems we solve that make the work exciting.\nIf you’re excited about building fast, learning continuously, and working on a product that sits at the center of content, monetization, and user experience, we’d love to talk.\nKey responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines to support Ads reporting, attribution, and analytics use cases\n\nWork extensively with Hive, Spark, SQL, Scala, and Kafka to process and manage petabyte-scale datasets\n\nOptimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency\n\nPartner with data scientists, product managers, and platform engineers to deliver high-quality, reliable datasets and APIs\n\nEnsure data quality, integrity, and consistency across multiple data sources\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues in real-time streaming pipelines and batch data jobs\n\nContinuously evaluate new technologies to enhance the Ads Data platform\n\nSkills and attributes for success:\nStrong programming experience in Scala (preferred), Java, or Python\n\nHands-on experience with Apache Spark (batch & streaming) for large-scale data processing\n\nProficiency in Hive, SQL, and data modeling for analytical workloads\n\nExperience working with Kafka for real-time event streaming\n\nSolid understanding of Big Data ecosystems (S4, Hive, Presto, Delta etc.)\n\nStrong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills\n\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
