This unique joint venture brings together the companies’ content creation and curation prowess, world-class digital streaming capabilities along with a digital first approach that will help deliver unparallelled content choices at affordable prices to Indian viewers and the Indian diaspora globally. \nWith its Head office in Mumbai, JioStar employees over 6500 people globally across its Entertainment, Digital (Tech, Non-Tech) and Sports business units.\nJob Summary\nThis role will lead hiring for the Technology business unit and will be responsible to deliver a hiring volume.\nAssociate Director - TA will work closely with the business and HR teams to provide strategic and operational support to lead and execute against talent acquisition needs and deliver world class candidate and employee experience to JioStar’s talent.\nThis includes translating business needs into executable staffing plans for medium to high complexity business roles by owning and executing end-to-end staffing and recruiting planning to onboarding of talent our business needs to be successful; as well as delivering world-class candidate and employee experiences.\n Key Responsibilities-\nTranslating business needs into strategic and executable staffing plans for one large/ complex or multiple business segments or sub-segments/ functions\nEstablishing credible, well respected long-term partnerships with hiring managers, candidates, and other stakeholders\nProviding strategic direction and consulting to the business regarding talent marketplace trends, competitive intelligence, industry knowledge and recruiting trends\nRoutinely partnering with sourcing for advancing and executing sourcing and networking plans aligned to business deliverables as well as managing advanced searches or projects by self with project management methodology inclusive of recapping strategy meetings and developing search plans.\nLeveraging advanced talent profiles, behavioral interviewing, and assessments and data insights for aiding in informed talent decisions\nNegotiate offers and communicate important employment information to candidates; follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruitment.\nEffectively articulating the business case for diversity and being able to drive and influence a diverse slate.\nLeading and executing recruitment strategies independently with key partners for specified roles, multiple needs, and/or opportunistic talent\nCoaching new hiring managers on recruitment process, their specific roles and responsibilities and experience/ deliverables expectations\nParticipating in or leading work streams responsible for designing solutions for multiple sites and segments, multiple LOB’s, businesses in various geographic regions or enterprise wide (Ex: building talent communities, leading efforts to represent the company at conferences, networking events & talent days, TA marketing plans/projects)\nProviding Talent Acquisition expertise during times of organizational change and redesign\nLeveraging advanced data and analytics for workforce plans to drive business insights and exhibits capability to ‘tell the story’ found within the data\nLeading a team of recruiters and coordinators, directly or indirectly\nPerformance Measures-\nDesign and delivery on the talent acquisition agenda for the year\nTalent acquisition metrics on quality, quantity, diversity, costs, SLA and experience, that will be set along with goals for the year.\nQualification and Experience\nPostgraduate or graduate in HR or Psychology preferred.\n10+ years of experience as a talent acquisition expert with prior experience of managing teams.\nExperience of hiring across functions such as Product & Engineering is desired.\nDemonstrated experience in providing strategic direction and consulting to business regarding talent marketplace trends, competitive intelligence, and recruiting trends.\nWorking experience in advanced sourcing, behavioral interviewing, and assessments; and offer making process, particularly with mid to senior candidates\nExperience of advanced hiring practices, social media, networking and TA tools and systems\nExperience in designing innovative recruitment strategies aligned to current or forecasted talent for specified roles, multiple needs, and/or opportunistic talent\nPersonal Attributes:\nAbility to thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous setup.\nAbility to solve complex problems;
