The ideal\ncandidate brings deep hands-on fluency in ComfyUI and multimodal GenAI workflows, along\nwith strong understanding of color pipelines, compositing principles, post-production workflows,\nand the practical realities of delivering premium video content. You will help define how GenAI\noutputs move from experimentation into production-grade pipelines that creative, VFX, DI, and\npost teams can trust, refine, and scale.\nKey Responsibilities\nComfyUI and GenAI Workflow Development\nDesign, build, and maintain advanced ComfyUI workflows for image and video\ngeneration, control, refinement, consistency, and production handoff.\nDevelop node-based GenAI pipelines that support controllability, repeatability,\nversioning, and creative direction across multiple content formats.\nIntegrate techniques such as ControlNet, IP adapters, LoRAs, reference conditioning,\nmotion transfer, upscaling, inpainting, and other emerging GenAI methods into usable\nproduction workflows.\nContinuously evaluate new GenAI tools, models, and workflow patterns, and adapt\nthem for JAMS production needs.\nColor Science, DI, and Post-Production Pipeline Integration\nDefine and maintain color-managed GenAI workflows using ACES, OCIO,\nLUT/CDL-based pipelines, and show-specific color transforms.\nEnsure AI-generated outputs preserve color consistency across ComfyUI, compositing,\neditorial, grading, real-time, and delivery environments.\nWork with post and DI teams on conform, reference exports, CDL/show LUT handling,\nVFX pulls, EXR workflows, SDR/HDR versioning, and final delivery readiness.\nTroubleshoot issues around scene-linear workflows, bit depth, alpha/premultiplication,\nmatte/depth passes, gamut mapping, grain, denoise, compression artifacts, and\nshot-to-shot continuity.\nPartner with colorists, editors, compositors, VFX artists, and pipeline teams to establish\nreliable review, QC, and handoff practices for AI-generated visual material.\nCompositing and VFX Bridge\nApply a strong understanding of compositing principles to make GenAI outputs more\nusable, controllable, and production-ready.\nBuild workflow bridges between GenAI tools and traditional VFX/compositing pipelines\nsuch as Nuke, After Effects, Fusion, or equivalent tools.\nHelp teams combine AI-generated elements with live action, CG, matte painting,\nclean-up, roto, matchmove, and finishing workflows.\nSupport shot-level problem solving where GenAI outputs need to be layered, corrected,\nstabilized, matched, or refined for final use.\n3D and Real-Time Workflow Collaboration\nCollaborate with teams using 3D and real-time tools such as Blender, Unreal Engine,\nMaya, Houdini, or equivalent platforms.\nExplore workflows that combine 3D scene control, camera movement, lighting\nreferences, depth passes, masks, renders, and GenAI generation.\nHelp define how 3D inputs and outputs can improve consistency, directability, and\nproduction value in AI-native content creation.\nSupport color-managed real-time review workflows, including OCIO-aware viewport\nand render handoffs where applicable.\nCross-Functional Production Enablement\nWork closely with Creative Technologists, Narrative and Visual Storytelling Leads,\nProducers, Editors, VFX/Post teams, Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams.\nTranslate creative production needs into robust technical workflows that can be used by\nsmall teams and PODs.\nDocument workflows, best practices, model/tool limitations, and repeatable production\nplaybooks for the JAMS team.\nPartner with Creative Technologists and Engineering teams on AI generation guardrails,\nvalidation prompts, and review workflows that improve output consistency, safety, and\nproduction usability.\nServe as an independent problem-solver and force multiplier across multiple active\nAI-native productions.\nRequirements\n10+ years of professional experience in the media, entertainment, VFX, animation,\npost-production, gaming, or adjacent creative technology industries.\nStrong hands-on expertise in ComfyUI, especially for image/video generation\nworkflows, control, refinement, and production-oriented automation.\nDeep understanding of color science, color pipelines, post-production workflows, and\nfinishing requirements.\nStrong working knowledge of ACES, OCIO, LUTs, CDLs, IDTs/ODTs, display transforms,\nRec.709, P3, HDR/SDR workflows, and DI/post-production handoff.\nExperience with EXR-based VFX workflows, scene-linear compositing,\nalpha/matte/depth passes, color-managed review, and technical QC for finishing.\nStrong practical understanding of compositing principles and VFX production\nworkflows.\nAbility to bridge GenAI experimentation with traditional production-grade VFX and\npost pipelines.\nFamiliarity with tools such as Nuke, After Effects, Fusion, DaVinci Resolve, Baselight, or\nsimilar compositing/post-production tools.\nWorking knowledge of 3D or real-time tools such as Blender, Unreal Engine, Maya,\nHoudini, or equivalent platforms is highly desirable.\nStrong understanding of GenAI visual workflows, including model behavior, prompting,\nconditioning, reference control, consistency, artifact management, and output\nevaluation.\nExcellent collaboration skills with the ability to work across creative, technical, and\nproduction teams.\nHigh ownership, learning agility, and comfort operating in a fast-evolving AI-native\nproduction environment.\nPreferred Education and Experience\nBachelor's or Master's degree in animation, VFX, film production, computer graphics,\ndesign, engineering, or a related field.\nPrior experience in VFX, animation, gaming, virtual production, post-production, DI, or\nAI-led content creation.\nExperience building reusable production workflows, templates, toolkits, or technical\nplaybooks for creative teams.\nExposure to GenAI video tools, multimodal models, agentic workflows, and AI-assisted\nfilmmaking pipelines.\nFamiliarity with top-tier studio, VFX, animation, virtual production, or post-production\noperating models is a significant
