Your work will help shape how millions of users around the world experience premium entertainment.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDefine and evolve the long-term engineering vision and roadmap for International and B2B offerings, aligned with JioHotstar’s product and business strategy.\nEnable multi tenancy in certain sub-systems to make our International and B2B offering equally feature rich\nBuild tooling and processes to enable all engineering teams to develop, verify and deploy globally for multiple tenants with the same ease as they do for JioHotstar India\nWear the product hat and being able to think about what and how to build the next set of systems\nDrive operational excellence by improving system reliability, observability, scalability, and effi ciency\nEnsure high standards in architecture, system design, code quality, and engineering best practices\nSimplify complex technical challenges into pragmatic, scalable solutions\nCreate and execute technical roadmaps aligned with business and organizational goals\nUnderstand system dependencies, trade-offs, and limitations to guide strategic decision-making\nLead the design and delivery of mission-critical systems and platform capabilities\nInfl uence engineering teams through technical leadership, architectural reviews, and hands-on problem-solving\nMentor engineers and technical leaders, fostering engineering growth and strong technical culture\nEncourage experimentation and rapid prototyping to accelerate innovation and reduce ambiguity Skills & Attributes for Success:\nProven experience architecting and scaling large-scale distributed systems and data platforms\nStrong ownership mindset with a track record of leading critical initiatives from conception to production\nExcellent business acumen and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align technical decisions to business impact\nExceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a bias toward simplicity and execution\nDeep expertise in software engineering fundamentals, system design, and performance optimization\nStrong understanding of data structures, algorithms, distributed computing, and modern backend technologies\nExperience building high-throughput, low-latency, and highly available systems\nAbility to mentor and infl uence teams while fostering a collaborative and inclusive engineering Qualifi cations:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related fi eld\n12+ years of experience in software engineering, with signifi cant experience in backend and data engineering systems\nExperience working with large-scale data ecosystems, cloud-native architectures, and modern data infrastructure technologies is
