If you’re excited about building fast, learning continuously, and working on a product that sits at the center of content, monetization, and user experience, we’d love to talk.\nReporting To: Engineering Manager\nKey responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines to support Ads reporting, attribution, and analytics use cases\nWork extensively with Hive, Spark, SQL, Scala, and Kafka to process and manage petabyte-scale datasets\nOptimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency\nPartner with data scientists, product managers, and platform engineers to deliver high-quality, reliable datasets and APIs\nEnsure data quality, integrity, and consistency across multiple data sources\nTroubleshoot and resolve issues in real-time streaming pipelines and batch data jobs\nContinuously evaluate new technologies to enhance the Ads Data platform Skills and attributes for success:\nStrong programming experience in Scala (preferred), Java, or Python\nHands-on experience with Apache Spark (batch & streaming) for large-scale data processing\nProficiency in Hive, SQL, and data modeling for analytical workloads\nExperience working with Kafka for real-time event streaming\nSolid understanding of Big Data ecosystems (S4, Hive, Presto, Delta etc.)\nStrong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.\nExperience in AdTech, Attribution, or Campaign Analytics\nFamiliarity with cloud-based big data solutions (AWS EMR, GCP BigQuery, Databricks, etc.)\nFamiliarity with scheduling services like AirFlow\nKnowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices Preferred education and experience:\nBachelors/Masters in Computer Science or a related field with 2-4 years of experience in backend development About JioStar Perched at the nucleus of spellbinding content and innovative technology, JioStar is a leading global media & entertainment company that is reimagining the way audiences consume entertainment and sports.
