Project
You will be involved in a large-scale, cloud-based software project for one of Poland’s leading organizations in the logistics and e-commerce industry. As a Backend Engineer, you will work in an international engineering team focused on building highly scalable and highly available applications that solve real-world problems for millions of users. This is an opportunity to join a well-established and rapidly growing Polish business and contribute to the development of a new fintech initiative from its early stages.
Expected competences and knowledge
- 3+ years of commercial experience as aBackend Engineer
- Strong experience with Python and Node.js
- Experience with event-driven architectures and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with Kafka
- Good understanding ofREST APIs and asynchronous communication
- Experience with React and/or Next.js
- Good communication skills in English (min. B2 level)
- Understanding of authorization flows, ledger and settlement processes
Experience with agile development methodologies
- Nice to have:
- Knowledge of software security and compliance requirements, including PCI DSS and PSD2
- Familiarity with KYC/KYB processes
- Experience working in international and cross-functional engineering teams
