Your tasks will consist of developing CAD models and drawings based on mechanical engineer requirements, performing drawing verification of your design, and supporting Manufacturing and Test fixture and gages development.\nResponsibilities you'll have\nPerform MCAD activity on new or support existing projects.\nCreate, evaluate and document mechanical designs using corporate tool sets (NX &TeamCenter).\n\nCreate and update 3D parts / assemblies / drawings\nEnsure of model and drawing compliance to internal standards and procedures\nSupport Mechanical Verification activities, tolerances stack-up and documentation\nSupport change management process as required\nCommunication/presentation of our results the Team\nExchange 3D data with supplier and customer\nManage BOM’s and release based on project approval\nExpected competences and knowledge\nUniversity degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.\nStrong mechanical engineering background, particularly in gearbox and electric motor design.\nPrevious experience in mechanical design within a high-volume, quality-sensitive manufacturing environment.\nExperience with driveline components, including gears, shafts, casings, bearings, and lubrication systems.\nProficiency in 3D CAD modelling, preferably using NX, and experience with Teamcenter or equivalent PLM solutions.\nGood understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and component design for metal and die-cast parts.\nExperience designing products for a cost-competitive automotive environment, with particular focus on sealing, thermal, and vibration requirements.\nGood knowledge and practical application of GD&T principles.\nProficiency in MS Office and CAD software.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.\nCustomer-focused mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nGood organizational skills, excellent time management, and the ability to meet deadlines.\nFluency in English.\nTechnologies you'll work with\nNX\nTeamcenter\nCAD\nGD&T\nMS Office\nClient - why choose this particular client from the Jit portfolio?\nThe client is a global technology leader delivering innovative and sustainable mobility solutions for the automotive market.
