Our company continues to deliver record sales led by a talented team and a commitment to “Fun Served Here”.\nPOSITION SUMMARY: J&J Snack Foods Corp. is currently looking to hire an audit professional to join our Internal Audit team as an Internal Auditor. The Internal Auditor will report to the Manager Internal Audit and will be based out of J&J Snack Foods’ Mount Laurel, NJ office.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nParticipate in performing the annual risk assessment. Based on the evaluation of risk, assist in preparing the annual audit plan\nParticipate in the scoping of individual audits, including performing research on\nrelevant audit topics as needed (e.g., Accounting, Compliance, General Manufacturing, IT Security)\nAssist the Manager Internal Audit perform all phases of an audit, including planning, fieldwork, and closing activities. Closing activities include drafting audit observations and\nrecommendations, as well as communicating the draft audit observations and recommendations to auditees\nPerform follow-up of management's action plans, including assessing the\nadequacy of evidence submitted for observation closure\nPerform annual detailed SOX testing, including providing recommendations to the business on how they can strengthen the control environment\nDevelop and maintain business relationships with appropriate levels of management across the business to ensure that Internal Audit is aware of changes in business activities and objectives\nSeek out relevant classes and training to maintain/expand professional skills\nand licenses\nResearch/help implement tools and technologies (e.g., AI) to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of work performed by the Internal Audit Department\nCOMPETENCIES:\nTo perform this job successfully, the Internal Auditor must be self-motivated, able to problem solve, detail-oriented, and able to stay on task.
