summary :\n\nWe are hiring a Senior DevOps Lead to own CI/CD, pipeline automation and infrastructure migrations across on-premise and cloud environments, to lead a DevOps team of at least 56 engineers, and to work hands-on as a forward deployed engineer alongside client and internal development teams.\n\n- Role : Senior DevOps Lead\n\n- Experience : 8 - 12 years, all in DevOps or IT infrastructure\n\n- Team leadership - Mandatory : has led a team of at least 56 members\n\n- Engagement model - Hands-on forward deployed engineering with client teams\n\n- Location : Bangalore\n\n- Shift model : Rotational shifts in India, US and UK hours, with extended and weekend support as needed\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\nMigrations :\n\n- Plan and run migrations on-premise to cloud, cloud to cloud and between on-premise environments\n\n- Assess current infrastructure, applications and dependencies; define migration waves, cutover and rollback plans\n\n- Migrate databases and data with reconciliation and minimal downtime\n\n- Run hybrid on-premise and cloud setups during transition\n\nCI/CD and automation :\n\n- Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, test, security scanning and deployment\n\n- Automate infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management\n\n- Set quality and security gates in pipelines (SAST, SCA, container scanning, secrets)\n\n- Standardise release, branching and environment promotion across Dev, UAT, Pre-Prod and Prod\n\nOperations and reliability :\n\n- Manage containers and Kubernetes platforms\n\n- Set up monitoring, logging and alerting; lead incident response and root-cause analysis\n\n- Maintain backup, high availability and disaster recovery; run DR drills\n\n- Manage cloud cost, access control and security posture\n\nLeadership :\n\n- Lead and mentor a DevOps team of at least 56 engineers; own the shift roster and handover\n\n- Work with development, QA, security and client teams on releases and environments\n\n- Maintain runbooks, architecture records and operational documentation\n\nForward deployed engineering :\n\n- Embed with client teams, on site or remotely, and build, deploy and fix directly in client environments\n\n- Turn client problems into working pipelines, infrastructure and automation, not just designs\n\n- Own the outcome end to end, from first discovery through production and handover\n\nPreferred qualifications :\n\n- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field\n\n- Certifications : Any associate level certifications in Azure, AWS or GCP\n\n- Experience in insurance or financial services delivery\n\n- Exposure to regulated environments (audits, VAPT, data privacy)\n\nWorking model and support expectations :\n\nThe role requires willingness to provide extensive support beyond regular hours.\n\n- Work in rotational shifts in different timezones\n\n- Provide extended-hours and weekend support for client and internal teams when needed\n\n- Be available on call for critical incidents and production deployments\n\nBehavioural competencies :\n\n- Ownership and accountability for uptime and releases\n\n- Calm, structured
