Other duties may be assigned.\nInstalls, sets up and maintains mechanical and electrical equipment as directed and assists others with electrical equipment.\nPossesses a working knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings. Diagnosis and employs the proper procedures for the relief of trouble.\nUtilizes hoisting and rigging procedures as required to ensure the safe completion of assigned tasks. \nDetermines when parts need replacement and repairs are necessary.\nAbility to interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC programing. \nWorks in the company of others in the performance of both mechanical and electrical duties.\nWorks in cooperation with the Production department at all times.\nPossesses a working knowledge of the following equipment.Power tools such as drill press, cut-off saw, and portable power tools.\nHand tools of the mechanical and electrical trades.\nHoisting equipment.\n\nUses safe working practices and reports hazardous conditions at all times.\nCompletes required records as required. \nDirects the activities of another when assigned.\nPossesses the necessary tools of the trade.\nTrains inexperienced employees on the job as required.\nPerforms other miscellaneous jobs as directed.\nKeeps E&R equipment and working area clean and orderly.\nOperates mobile and hoisting equipment in performance of E&R work.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nThis job has no supervisory responsibilities. Works within guidelines and policies of JM Eagle. Follows guidelines and directives supplied by Supervisor.\nQualifications\nQUALIFICATIONS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nCollege or trade school certifications in mechanical and electrical courses.\n2+ year’s verifiable experience in electrical & maintenance repairs.\nAble to read and create mechanical and electrical drawings.\nGood knowledge of electrical codes.\nCOMPUTER SKILLS\nPC experience required. Working knowledge of UpKeep program, MS Office.\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS\nAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as ratios, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.\nREASONING ABILITY\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
