Other duties may be assigned.\nMaintain work area to THM standards.\n\nSupervises projects in accordance with the Maintenance Supervisor's instruction and schedule.\n\nSupervise and work on the installation, operation, maintenance, testing, and location of trouble on all types of AC and DC equipment.\n\nMake and analyze complex wiring diagrams/sketches and perform proper electrical installation from prints.\n\nStart, stop, maintain, and help install and repair plant equipment.\n\nInstall and repair electrical conduit and cables, including connections, controls, and grounding.\n\nAssist or oversee dismantling and assembly of electrical motors and allied equipment and the repairing, cleaning, and replacement of parts.\n\nOperate mobile and hoisting equipment in the performance of E & R work.\n\nMake or direct voltmeter, ammeter, wattmeter, and other electrical testing.\n\nPossess and use knowledge of the electrical distribution system and power requirements of the plant.\n\nPossess and use knowledge of Underwriter's codes and requirements and perform work in accordance.\n\nPossess and use working knowledge of electrical switchboards.\n\nEnsure tools, equipment, and instruments of the electrical shop are used in a skillful, safe, and proper manner.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities. Works within guidelines and policies of JM Eagle. Works under the direction of the designated supervisor.\nEXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL SKILLS\nExperience in electrical schematics, PLC Logic, DC motors/drives, AC motors/inverters, temperature controllers, DC brush-less motor drives, 110- and 480-volt control circuits, and conduit work required.\nCandidate must successfully complete an electrical field test.\nCOMPUTER SKILLS\nSome computer experience preferred.\nLANGUAGE SKILLS\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS\nAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, etc.\nREASONING ABILITY\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
