This unique position combines cloud infrastructure administration with hands-on software development, giving you the opportunity to work with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Terraform, Python, and custom AI applications.\nYou'll help maintain and optimize cloud environments while contributing to the development of innovative applications that support JMARK and our clients.\nWe're looking for someone who has a solid technical foundation, enjoys tackling challenges, and is excited to grow their skills in cloud technologies, automation, and software development.\nYou don't have to know everything on day one. We're looking for someone with the right technical aptitude, curiosity, and drive to learn.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nCloud Administration & Infrastructure\nAssist with provisioning, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining AWS cloud resources, including compute, storage, networking, and identity services.\nWork with Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).\nMonitor cloud environments, troubleshoot performance issues, and respond to alerts.\nAssist with cloud security, access management, patching, backups, and recovery processes.\nHelp maintain reliable, secure, and efficient cloud environments.\nDocument cloud configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.\nCollaborate with senior team members to implement infrastructure improvements and resolve technical challenges.\nSoftware Development & AI Applications\nDevelop, test, and deploy new features, enhancements, and bug fixes for JMARK's custom AI application.\nWrite clean, maintainable Python code following established development standards.\nBuild and integrate APIs to connect applications, services, and systems.\nParticipate in code reviews and collaborate with other developers to improve application functionality.\nTroubleshoot application issues and assist with testing and debugging.\nUtilize Git for version control and follow established development and deployment processes.\nExplore opportunities to use automation to improve efficiency and streamline operations.\nSecurity, Collaboration & Continuous Improvement\nFollow established cybersecurity best practices, secure coding standards, and change management processes.\nAssist with monitoring and responding to cloud security alerts.\nWork closely with the AI Operations team to support projects and operational priorities.\nParticipate in training, knowledge sharing, and professional development opportunities.\nStay curious about emerging cloud, DevOps, cybersecurity, and AI technologies.\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe're looking for someone who enjoys both infrastructure and development and wants to continue building expertise in these areas.\nTechnical Skills & Experience\nWorking knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.\nFoundational understanding of Terraform or Infrastructure as Code concepts.\nPython programming experience, including the ability to write, troubleshoot, and maintain code.\nFamiliarity with RESTful APIs and application integrations.\nBasic understanding of Linux and/or Windows administration.\nKnowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls.\nExperience with Git or similar version control tools.\nFamiliarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.\nBasic understanding of cloud security, access management, monitoring, and logging.\nUnderstanding of software development practices, testing, and troubleshooting.\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; relevant technical training or certifications; or equivalent professional experience.\nTypically 1-2 years of experience in cloud administration, software development, or a combination of both. Internships, apprenticeships, and demonstrated technical competency will also be considered.\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.\nExcellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.\nWhat Would Set You Apart?\nWhile not required, experience in any of the following areas would be a plus:\nAWS certifications or hands-on AWS cloud infrastructure experience.\nHashiCorp Terraform certification or practical Terraform experience.\nExperience developing applications or automation solutions using Python.\nExposure to AI, machine learning, or AI-powered application development.\nFamiliarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, Bash, or PowerShell.\nExperience working with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, or automated deployments.\nExperience
