meet the production schedule, including continuous supply of components and materials, verification of equipment set-up and meeting training requirements for personnel, while ensuring quality specifications and procedures are followed.\nUnder direct supervision, coordinates production associates to meet schedule in compliance with Quality System, EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) and company policies to ensure that equipment and material resources will be utilized effectively and efficiently.\nYou will be responsible for:\nIn accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:\nResponsible for scheduling the production line based on supply requirements and demands.\nManages the effective and efficient utilization of equipment and material resources to optimize performance.\nAssists the manufacturing supervisor to ensure that production plans are met.\nResponsible for maintaining the continuous flow of the line by verifying the constant feeding of components, supplies and tooling.\nChecks the set-up of machines and equipment with the help of maintenance technicians.\nVerifies compliance of machinery and equipment calibration with respect to their due dates.\nImmediately report any quality problems, increased error rates, and equipment malfunctions to the manufacturing supervisor or line engineer to determine a solution.\nEnsures that there is cleanliness and order at workstations as required by procedures.\nDistributes associates in a timely manner at the beginning of the shift based on line balancing and production requirements.\nVerify that the labels are correct and that the quantities per lot are as indicated.\nResponsibilities include some clerical functions within the business unit including writing scrap reports, training records, production metrics, manufacturing documents, capture in the automated training system, among others.\nMaintains organization of Kanban and other storage areas on the manufacturing floor.\nVerifies compliance with quality policies and productivity targets.\nSupports and promotes the safety and industrial hygiene objectives in the plant.\nVerifies each associate's training against requirements and ensures that standard work is being met.\nPerforms audits to GMP's.\nParticipates in continuous improvement actions.\nSupports and administers award and recognition programs.\nSome other responsibilities may be added, and some of those listed may not be assigned.\nCompliance with applicable manner.\nQualifications / Requirements:\nEDUCATION: High School education or equivalent minimum required.\nJOB EXPERIENCE: 0-2 years of experience as an assembly operator in manufacturing, preferably in the medical industry.\nREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS.\nExcellent teamwork skills.\nBasic knowledge of statistics, mathematics, and statistical process control (SPC).\nExcellent communication skills to serve as an interface between manufacturing, engineering, materials management, and quality control.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.\nGood communication skills in English are highly desirable.\nFunctional knowledge on PC applications and programs such as MS, Windows, Excel, etc.\nRequired Skills:\nPreferred
