As a leader in the EdTech field, we are committed to delivering meaningful products and services that truly make a difference.\nJob Purpose :\nThe Software Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that the organization’s products, services, and processes consistently meet defined quality standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. This role involves developing and implementing quality policies, managing QA projects, leading and mentoring QA teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to minimize defects and enhance overall quality performance.\nKey Responsibilities :\nDevelop, establish, maintain, and implement QA policies, procedures and processes aligned with organizational goals and industry standards. \nManage and oversee all QA activities and operations, including test strategy development, test case design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting. \nLead, supervise, mentor, and support QA team members to ensure high performance and continuous professional growth. \nMonitor adherence to applicable regulations, standards (e.g., ISO, GDPR), and internal quality policies. \nWork closely with product development, engineering, customer service, and operations teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle. \nPlan and manage QA budgets, tools, and staffing to support current and future QA needs. \nContribute to organizational planning by aligning QA goals with broader business objectives and participating in leadership decision-making. \nHandel and resolve escalated quality issues, non-conformities, and customer complaints, ensuring timely and effective corrective actions. \nGenerate regular QA performance reports to communicate testing progress, defect metrics, and quality trends to senior leadership and stakeholders. \nReport on compliance and audit readiness by documenting adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, GDPR) and internal QA policies. \nProvide incident and resolution reports for escalated quality issues or customer complaints, detailing investigation outcomes and corrective actions taken \nensure transparency, timely response, and alignment with organizational security standards. \nRecommend opportunities for automation or workflow enhancements to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks.\nEnsure compliance with institutional policies, academic standards, and regulatory guidelines.\nProvide regular 1:1 coaching to team members to support their professional development, address individual challenges, and align their work with team objectives. Foster a culture of continuous improvement through constructive feedback, personalized guidance, and a clear goal setting.\nIdentify skills gabs, training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities tailored to each team member’s role to enhance their capabilities and support career growth.\nProactively identify, address, and resolve challenges related to performance, KPIs, collaboration, or workload distribution to enhance overall team effectiveness.\nStay updated with trends, innovations, and best practices in relevant subject areas to guide team members accordingly.\nPerform any additional relevant tasks assigned by the direct manager.\nTechnical Competencies\nExperience in Microsoft suite Office. \nExperience in Collaboration & Communication tools such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom \nExpertise in designing, building, and maintaining test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium to improve test efficiency and coverage. \nProficiency with Performance and Load Testing tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner for conducting performance, load, and stress testing to ensure system scalability and reliability. \nSolid understanding of security testing principles, vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10), and familiarity with related tools and practices to validate application security. \nHands-on experience with API testing using Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent tools for automated and manual testing of REST and SOAP APIs. \nStrong command of test management platforms like TestRail, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM, and defect tracking systems such as Jira for test planning, execution, and issue tracking. \nKnowledge of integrating QA activities into CI/CD pipelines using platforms like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI to enable automated builds, tests, and deployments. \nProficiency in at least one programming/scripting language-such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#-to develop automated test scripts and utilities. \nAbility to write and execute SQL queries for database validation, integrity checks, and backend testing across relational databases. \nUnderstanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for testing applications deployed in cloud environments. \nExperience using Git (or alternatives like SVN) for version control, code collaboration, and integration with test automation systems. \nComprehensive experience in various aspects of Quality Assurance, including test planning, execution, and strategy. \nExperience in developing, implementing, and optimizing QA processes, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum), and best practices \nStrong background in test automation frameworks, tools, and strategies. \nExperience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating quality risks. \nExperience in managing QA budgets and resource allocation. \nRequired Qualifications & Skills :\nBachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. \nMaster’s degree in Software Engineering, computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus. \n8+ years of experience in a related field. \n\nISTQB Advanced Level - Test Manager is plus \nProject Management Professional (PMP) is plus \nRecruitment Statement\nOnly qualified and shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
