payroll system in collaboration with Finance Administrator and HR Manager.\nReview reconciled employee leave balances by the 17th of each month.\nReview monthly payroll transaction reports.\nEnsure payroll data accuracy and alignment with HR records.\nMaintain personnel changes on SimplePay.\nReview and approve staff expense claims prior to payroll cutoff.\nReview salary payment lists by the 23rd.\nLoad salary payments for approval by the 24th\nAWS Cost & Operational Cost Reporting:\nPrepare and review AWS cost reports at month-end.\nPrepare monthly cloud and operational variance reports\nPerform monthly cost saving calculations.\nAdministration:\nMaintain proper filing of financial documents and contracts.\nSupport internal and external audit processes when required.\nReview and approve team expense requisitions for travel and ad hoc costs, verifying alignment with the approved budget.\nMaintaining Weekly Bank & Cashflows:\nMaintain weekly customer and supplier account reconciliations\nUpdate weekly bank accounts through cashbook maintenance across all entities\nPrepare weekly cash flow reports for presentation to the CEO\nAnnual Financial Reporting:\nPrepare annual financial statements\nEnsure all records are accurate, complete, and audit-ready\nFinalise full Balance Sheet reconciliations\nReview annual general ledger accounts\nPerform year-end variance analysis\nProvide comprehensive financial performance analysis to management\nSupport strategic planning through financial modelling and scenario analysis\nAssist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes\nEvaluate the overall financial health of the organisation\nPrepare provisional tax returns (bi-annual) for auditor submission\nCoordinate with auditors during the annual audit\nProvide required schedules and respond to audit queries timeously.\nCompliance & Controls:\nAdhere to company financial policies, procedures, and internal controls\nEnsure compliance with all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements\nMeet all finance-related deadlines\nTrack and control departmental budgets\nMonitor and measure financial KPIs\nEnsure compliance documentation for bids and tenders is up to date\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting and finance\nPostgraduate qualification in Accounting (preferred)\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience in a Fintech or similar sector\nProficiency in financial software (Sage and Simple Pay) and Microsoft Office Suite\nStrong organisational and multitasking abilities\nExcellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to explain financial information clearly to stakeholders\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team\nSolid understanding of financial principles and accounting practices\nDeadline driven\nProven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced
