Key Performance Areas

Plan, coordinate, and oversee the company's financial operations to ensure efficient financial management.
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and monitor expenditure against approved budgets.
Prepare, analyse, and present monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Provide accurate financial reporting and insights to management and key stakeholders.
Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor daily cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
Evaluate existing financial controls, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhanced control measures where required.
Support operational departments by providing financial analysis, guidance, and decision-making support.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
Assist with financial planning, forecasting, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
A professional accounting designation or postgraduate qualification will be advantageous.
Minimum of 3 years' relevant accounting or financial management experience.
Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
Understanding of corporate governance principles and internal financial controls.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, as well as financial reporting and accounting software.
Experience working within a commercial or corporate finance environment will be advantageous.
