multi-store retail management role.\nClothing retail experience is essential.\nProven experience managing multiple retail stores and driving sales performance across a regional portfolio.\nStrong understanding of retail operations, sales targets, budgeting, profitability and cost control.\nExperience in stock management, inventory control, shrinkage prevention and loss prevention.\nProven staff management experience, including performance management, employee development and industrial relations.\nStrong business acumen and the ability to analyse store performance and implement improvement strategies.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.\nSelf-motivated, proactive and able to take initiative.\nProficient in Microsoft Office.\nValid, unendorsed Code 8 driver's licence.\nWillingness to travel extensively, work extended hours and assist over weekends when required.\nA qualification in retail operations or a related field will be advantageous.\nKey Responsibilities:Multi-Store Retail Operations and Sales\nOversee the daily operations and performance of the allocated retail store portfolio across the Western Cape.\nDrive sales growth and ensure stores achieve and exceed sales targets.\nMonitor daily sales figures, store performance and key operational indicators, implementing corrective action where necessary.\nEnsure company strategies, marketing campaigns and promotional activities are effectively implemented across all stores.\nMonitor competitor activity, pricing, products and promotions, providing feedback and recommendations to the buying and marketing teams.\nIdentify opportunities to improve store performance, operational efficiency and profitability.\nStaff Management and DevelopmentManage, coach and develop store managers and retail teams to achieve business objectives.\nMonitor staff performance, productivity and development across the store portfolio.\nManage staffing requirements and ensure appropriate recruitment and placement of employees in line with company procedures.\nMonitor store wage budgets and ensure staffing costs remain aligned with sales performance.\nWork closely with HR on industrial relations matters, disciplinary processes and related employee issues.\nEnsure store managers comply with company policies, procedures and standard operating procedures.\nStock Control, Risk and Loss PreventionMonitor stock levels, stock movement and inventory accuracy across all stores.\nIdentify and address negative stock on hand, stock discrepancies and potential stock losses.\nInvestigate high shrinkage levels and implement preventative measures in accordance with company policies.\nEnsure stores are adequately prepared for stocktakes and that stocktaking procedures are followed.\nMonitor security procedures and the performance of security personnel, escalating risks where necessary.\nEnsure inter-branch transfers are managed effectively to optimise stock availability and sales opportunities.\nAsset Management and Cost ControlMonitor controllable expenses and implement measures to improve store profitability.\nEnsure store fixtures, fittings and assets are maintained and accounted for.\nMaintain consistent standards of housekeeping, merchandising and store presentation across the portfolio.\nEnsure stock receiving, capturing and inventory management procedures are followed correctly.\n Customer Service and Store StandardsEnsure consistently high standards of customer service across all stores.\nCoach and guide store teams in customer service and complaint resolution.\nAddress customer concerns where necessary and promote a positive shopping experience.\nConduct regular store visits to assess operational compliance, merchandising, housekeeping and overall
