Assistant Finance Manager

Essential:

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management or a related field.
• 3-5 years' relevant accounting/finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Experience with:
• Creditors and debtors
• Bank reconciliations
• Financial reporting
• Month-end procedures
• Journals and accruals
• Cost control
• Stock control
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong computer literacy.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Previous experience in a 5-star hotel, safari lodge, resort or luxury hospitality environment.
• Experience with hospitality accounting systems and PMS/POS systems.
• Payroll accounting experience.
• Experience with lodge stock and cost control.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Accounting professional studies or progress towards a professional accounting qualification.
